AGI has developed a number of action plans to continuously diversify our aboriginal engagement. Our diverse strategy can be broken down into five categories:

  1. Direct hire
  2. Training and education
  3. Community investment
  4. Aboriginal owned suppliers
  5. Shareholder interests

We have dedicated time to develop this strategy and continuously seek additional means of engagement, both in the municipality we call home and in the communities we do business.

Each year AGI completes multiple projects on time or ahead of schedule, despite extreme weather conditions and remote locations. Our rapid project planning, mobilization and exceptional fabrication speeds set us apart as the industry leader for tight schedule construction.

AGI supports continuing research and development of technology associated with new construction and repair work for storage tanks. AGI has formed an alliance with our North American service partners Mix Brothers Tank Service (MTS) and American Tank & Vessel (AT&V). Through AT&V’s participation in the API sub-committee for tanks and vessels, AGI is able to ensure that our proprietary technology is acceptable and of sound practice.

AGI develops technology associated with the use of new welding systems and procedures. This incorporates new equipment and proprietary technology.

AGI has developed a “Telescopic Tank” that allows us to shop build tanks that would typically be field erected. Tanks are shipped to site in a telescopic collapsed state, placed in position, then extended section by section with AGI proprietary jacking technology. This is effective for
tanks up to 10,000bbl.
